Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
We are committed to making the official Arlene Gould website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, buttons and forms with visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive labels and alt text for images and icons.
- Color contrast tuned for readability against dark backgrounds.
- Support for reduced motion via user preference and via our on-site accessibility widget.
Accessibility widget
An accessibility widget is available at the bottom-left of every page. It lets visitors adjust font size, enable high-contrast mode, underline links, and reduce motion. Preferences are saved on your device.
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content (YouTube player, streaming links, external ticket vendors) is beyond our direct control. We select providers that maintain their own accessibility standards.
